A collection of all the Burning Man videos I've made over the years.
2022
My first video coming out of Burning Man 2022, and my 15th overall. I chose a melancholy theme for this one, unlike most of my vids, because it was such a hard burn for many people, including long-time vets. The song is Jeff Buckley's rendition of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah.'
The second part of my Hallelujah project from Burning Man 2022. This is much more upbeat than Part 1, set to a song you've likely not heard before: 'Hallelujah' by David Penn and Kevin McKay.
In February of this year I was jonesing for the playa, so decided to put together a video entirely of my camp - Friendgasm - and my campmates. Most of this footage has appeared in previous videos of mine, but it's all recut and set to a new song - "Lucky" featuring Vlossom, by PNAU.
2020
The year that wasn't. This is, in my opinion, the most beautiful Burning Man video I've made. I combined my own footage with that of over a dozen other people to celebrate the last 10 years of Burning Man. Black Rock City won't rise from the desert this year, but maybe this will send you back to the playa for a few minutes.
Set to Rüfüs Du Sol's "New Sky".

2019
My main 2019 video, full of my campmates and beautiful drone footage.
Set to Odesza's "Line of Slight" and then a mix of some various music.

This is the most work I've ever put into a video. I re-wrote the lyrics to Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start The Fire" to be all about Burning Man, and then set it to video. It's basically a selective history of Burning Man up until about spring 2019. The full lyrics with explanation are here: https://www.burn.life/blog/firestarters
2018
A love letter to the camp I lead - Friendgasm. This was my best year ever at Burning Man, and I have them to thank for it!
I wanted to teach myself some new editing techniques, and made this video to practice. It's only 90 seconds, but took me longer than a 10 minute video normally does.
2016
I created a tribute to David Bowie using my 2016 footage, set to his song Space Oddity. Enjoy!
A video mostly about the people at Lip Bomb I stayed with that year.
2015
My 2015 video. I really love the still shot on the cover. Probably my fav BM pic I've taken.
2014
My 2014 video. A compilation, set to music whose lyrics are sometimes relevant to what's on the screen or BM in general.
I rewrote the lyrics to "My Favorite Things" to be about Burning Man, then hired a singer to sing it set to the music from the song. The video is pretty goofy but if you like Burning Man you'll probably enjoy the lyrics.
2013
My 2013 video. This was the first year I led a theme camp. We were Tasty Bits, and a bunch of my campmates are in the video.
2012
This was the first video I ever made to cross 100k views, and it was exciting! I don't like all the still photos mixed in, but I have a lot of nostalgia for this video. It was only my third year on the playa.
2011
The very first video I ever uploaded to YouTube (yes, I was not exactly an early video adopter). Don't hate. I like to think I've gotten better throughout the years.
